Aisha Hinds, an American actor best famous for her role in the television series The Shield and True Blood. In the years since her debut she has demonstrated her versatility by performing on series such as Under the Dome, 9-1-1 Detroit and 1-8-7. Her first recognition came from her performance as Anna in the 2005 movie Assault on Precinct 13. The first time she was recognized was for her part in the 2005 biographical documentary All the Way. Hind was also praised for her role as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's historical television drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show for the third season. Recently Hind wrapped filming for the Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set to release the mid-year of 2019. Her father Krishnaraj passed away in March of 2017 after a lengthy stint as a scientist for the Indian Army. Vrinda, her mother is a domestic worker. She has an older brother Aditya Rai who works as an engineer for the Merchant Navy. Bachchan's older brother and his mother produced Dil Ka Rishta. The family moved to Mumbai, where she attended Arya Vidya Mandir. Jai Hind College where she was a student for the entire year. completed her secondary education before taking a place at D.G. Ruparel College, Matunga. She scored 90% in her H.S.C. exams. When she was in her teens she was a student for five years studying classical music as well as dancing. Her favourite study was Zoology. Bachchan took a course in architecture after she won the title of Miss World 1994. She was catapulted into modeling's highest rung by winning the title. Additionally, she received a lucrative contract from L'Oreal Paris as spokesmodel in 2003. Bachchan had a popular acting career with her roles in Iruvar (1997 as well as Aur Pyaar ho Gaya (1997). Bachchan was thrust to the forefront of New Bollywood after both films broke the traditional structure for Bollywood movies at that time. Bachchan was crowned the queen of Bollywood by playing Paro the betrayed lover in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was among Bollywood's most successful films. It was also the first film to screen at Cannes Film Festival. After that, she was rewarded with great acclaim for her portrayal in Chokher Bali (2003) which is a dramatic thriller that was based on Rabindranath Tagore's novel. The actress was the first Indian to join the jury at the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan was in Bride and Prejudice, a dance and musical adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice by Gurinderchadha. The beauty and star power of Bachchan made her the perfect choice for the first English-language major film. Bachchan came back to Bollywood for the smash Dhoom: 2 (2006) and then released Provoked The Story of Provoked True Story (2006) in English. Abhishek Bachchan got married to her in April 2007. He's a Bollywood celebrity and regular co-star.
